TO BE RELEASED AUGUST 20th 1994
Massey Publishing announces the release of SOUNDMORPH(tm), a new program for the Macintosh that will let users morph between any two mono AIFF files. Unlike other sound morphing products, SoundMorph™ literally creates an entirely new waveform based on extensive analysis and interpolation of the two sounds it is given. Depending on how you set a few simple parameters the effects generated can vary from simple cross fades to extreme harmonic warping.
For more information please contact Massey Publishing at the above places.

Hi! Thanks for your interest, I’m kind of new at the product lit/marketing hype thing, but here goes:
SoundMorph(tm) does for sound what morphing did for graphics.
It's current specs are:
1) Runs on any post Mac II computer up to, but not including, PowerPCs
2) Supports any sample rate and 8 or 16 bit sounds
3) Needs System 7, Sound Manager 3.x, and a minimum of 2Mb RAM
4) About 1MB of disk space for temporary storage for every second of morph @48K sample rate
5) On a 33MHz Quadra, it takes about 2 - 3 Minutes to create one second of morph
The process for creating a morph is extremely simple.
1) You load the first sound (the Source)
2) You load the second sound (the Destination)
3) You select a morph region
4) You set the morph parameters (frequency limits, warp factors, etc resolution)
5) You tell the computer to morph and go have lunch
*It will run in the background.
*If I can survive the interim PC, PowerPC, and DSP versions will begin appearing end of year/next year.
*It will also be available on line in 1 - 2 weeks.
*OnLine price will be $39.95
If there's anything else you'd like to know, please feel free to drop me a line.
Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
